At Southern Score Builders, sustainability is not a checkbox, it’s a commitment woven into every brick, plan, and purpose. From green innovations to thriving communities, we build with the future in mind, creating spaces where people and the planet can grow together.
Empowering Future Talents Through Industry-Academia Collaboration
On 3 June 2026, Southern Score and the Faculty of Engineering & Technology at TARUMT marked a significant milestone through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Represented by Southern Score CEO, Mr. Gan Yee Hin, and Associate Professor Dr. Chook Ka Joo of TARUMT, the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to bridging academic learning with industry expertise for the next generation of professionals. This initiative reflects our commitment to giving back to the community — ensuring that no one is left behind. Beyond food, we hope to share kindness, dignity, and hope with every family we meet.
With each act of service, may we bring warmth and dignity to those in need.
Southern Score Joins Hands for Batang Kali Provision Project.
On 6 September 2025, Southern Score, led by our CEO Gan Yee Hin, proudly joined the Batang Kali Provision Project with Kriyalakshmi Gurukul – KMSSG. Together, our staff prepared and delivered 200 packs of food and daily essentials to families in need around Batang Kali. Southern Score giving back through safe and comfortable living.
Southern Score is grateful for the opportunity to support the Selangor King George V Silver Jubilee Fund in creating safer, more comfortable living spaces for elderly, homeless women. On October 1, 2024, our leadership team including Managing Director Tan Sri Datuk Seri Gan Yu Chai, Puan Sri Datin Seri Elaine Lee Kuan Kiow, and CEO Gan Yee Hin visited the shelter home to oversee essential roof repairs and deliver much-needed supplies.
We’re proud to support initiatives that enrich lives and strengthen communities.
Every Step, Every Piece Counts
In celebration of Tzu Chi Malaysia’s 30th anniversary, over 8,000 passionate individuals came together for one shared purpose: to care for our environment.
Southern Score was proud to be part of this nationwide plogging initiative — walking, running, and cleaning up our surroundings alongside thousands across Malaysia.
Because every piece of litter picked up, and every step taken, is a step closer to a greener, cleaner future. Here’s to collective action, lasting impact, and a planet we can all be proud of.
SSBB Partners with Leong Jun Hao to Inspire Malaysian Youth
At SSBB, our commitment to social responsibility includes nurturing talent, fostering community well-being, and empowering the next generation. As part of this ongoing commitment, we are proud to support national badminton athlete Leong Jun Hao as our first official brand ambassador.
Youth Empowerment: By backing a young, driven athlete like Leong, we aim to inspire Malaysian youth to pursue their ambitions with courage and dedication — on and off the court.
Rooted in Community: Leong is not just a national talent — he is a Setapak homegrown athlete, and that holds special meaning for us. As a company founded in Setapak, Southern Score is proud to uplift one of its own and give back to the very community where our journey began.
National Pride & Identity: Supporting local talent contributes to strengthening Malaysia’s cultural identity and national unity through sports.
Healthy Lifestyles: We believe in promoting active, healthy lifestyles by supporting role models who embody discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship.
Equal Opportunity: This initiative reflects our broader goal to create platforms where young Malaysians — regardless of background — can thrive and shine on the global stage.
“This partnership goes beyond sponsorship — it is our contribution to the future of Malaysian sports, and a heartfelt investment in a fellow Setapak native who shares our roots,” said Gan Yee Hin, Executive Director and CEO of SSBB.
