Managing Director
Tan Sri Datuk Seri Gan Yu Chai founded Southern Score in 2010 and led its first major project, PR1MA Jalan Jubilee. He has been on the Board since 2012 and was appointed Managing Director in November 2022, overseeing the Group’s strategy and key initiatives.
A Diploma holder in Electronic Engineering from the Institute of Further Technical Education, Malaysia, Tan Sri Gan brings over 30 years of experience in property development and construction. He also founded Platinum Victory Group, delivering more than 30 residential developments.
Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer
Gan Yee Hin was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Southern Score on 9 November 2022. He has been a member of the Board since 1 August 2019 and is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of the Company’s construction projects.
Mr. Gan holds a Master of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. He began his career at Platinum Victory Holdings Sdn. Bhd. as an Executive Director, establishing and managing the company’s branding, marketing, and sales activities.

Executive Director
Datuk Sydney Lim Tau Chin was appointed Executive Director of Southern Score on 9 November 2022 and has been on the Board since 2 February 2021. He oversees the Company’s corporate planning and corporate finance matters.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, USA, and has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and Oxford University. Datuk Sydney has extensive experience in corporate finance and investment, having held executive roles at Sadec Asia Pacific, Utama Merchant Bank, and FBO Berhad (now Meta Bright Group Berhad), and currently manages a private investment company.
Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman
A lawyer by profession, he is a partner at Messrs Daing Khatijah & Amran and a member of the Malaysian Bar. With over 20 years in mining-related businesses, he serves as Executive Chairman of Lembing Resources Sdn. Bhd., the holding company of Myah Mines Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture with Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Pahang.
Independent Non-Executive Director
Phe Kheng Peng was appointed Independent Non-Executive Director of Southern Score on 9 November 2022. She is Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and the Nomination Committee, and a member of the Remuneration Committee.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow of CPA Australia. Ms. Phe has nearly 30 years of experience in finance, including senior roles as Chief Investment Officer at Arab-Malaysian Banking Group, Managing Director of Global Markets at AmBank Group, and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank Malaysia.
Independent Non-Executive Director
Too Siew Mooi was appointed Independent Non-Executive Director of Southern Score on 9 November 2022. She is Chairperson of the Remuneration Committee, and a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and Nomination Committee.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, a Certificate of Legal Practice, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Law (Islamic Banking) from the International Islamic University Malaysia. Ms. Too has nearly 30 years of experience in corporate and conveyancing law, having held senior positions at Messrs Yazid Baba & Partners, Messrs Azam-Malek & Soh, Messrs Lachaman Lalchand & Associates, and Messrs Skukor Baljit & Partners.
Independent Non-Executive Director
Kam Wai Peng was appointed Independent Non-Executive Director of Southern Score on 1 March 2025. She is a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee.
She holds a Diploma in Commerce (Financial Accounting) from Tunku Abdul Rahman College, is a Fellow of ACCA, and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Ms. Kam brings over 30 years of experience in finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation, having held senior leadership roles at AirAsia Berhad, Asia OneHealthcare, GHL Systems Berhad, Petronas ICT, Transmile Group, and VADS Berhad.
Independent Non-Executive Director
Ong Chin Cheah was appointed Independent Non-Executive Director of Southern Score on 5 March 2025. She is a member of the Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leeds, UK, a Certificate in Legal Practice, and has been admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya since 2015. Ms. Ong has extensive experience in corporate and cross-border legal transactions, having served in senior legal roles across multiple industries.
Chief Finance Officer of Finance & Accounting
Lee Chen Nee was appointed Chief Finance Officer of Finance & Accounting at Southern Score on 1 June 2019. She is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
She holds a Bachelor of Management in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, is a Chartered Accountant, and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Ms. Lee has extensive experience in auditing and corporate finance, having worked at Ernst & Young, KPMG China, and Platinum Victory before joining Southern Score.
Head of Legal & Corporate Communication
Pang Cheng Wei was appointed Head of Legal and Corporate Communication at Southern Score on 1 June 2019. He is responsible for legal and corporate communication matters. He holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of the West of England, UK, and an LLM in Commercial Law from the University of Derby, UK.
Mr. Pang has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, having held key roles at Zelan Holdings, a Kuala Lumpur legal firm, and Platinum Victory, where he established the Group Legal Department, before joining Southern Score.
Director of Human Resource & Administrative
Puan Sri Elaine Lee Kuan Kiow was appointed Director of Human Resource & Administrative at Southern Score on 1 June 2019. She is responsible for overseeing human resource and administrative functions across the Company.
Puan Sri Lee began her career in education as a teacher, later gaining over 15 years of experience in the banking industry, and subsequently joining Platinum Victory’s Human Resource & Administrative Department before assuming her current role at Southern Score.
Director of Development & Projects
Ir. Ong Beng Hoe was appointed Director of Development & Projects at Southern Score on 1 June 2019. He is responsible for overseeing the Company’s development and construction projects.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Universiti Malaya and brings over 30 years of experience in construction and project management, having held senior roles at Platinum Victory, including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and General Manager of construction operations. His portfolio includes developments such as Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2, and Bandar Parklands.
